        • Controversial, hmm.. I’m looking forward to that! Any good recommendations on books or movies? I was sorry to hear about your soccer player, Israel. I’m hoping that will resolve itself as he takes it to the courts. Have a great day!

          • I’ve recently seen Olympus Has Fallen and Iron Man (although I have a feeling you’ve seen the latter πŸ™‚ )
I’ve also recently seen The Mummy trilogy, and the rest of the Jurassic Park movies. Oh, and the 2014 Godzilla. Awesome! (There’s also Kong: Skull Island, and I’m in the middle of watching Aquaman. Have you seen Skyscraper?)
I’ve recently read The Dove Chronicles trilogy by Karen Bao, The Atlantis Code by Charles Brokaw, and Atlantis Found by Clive Cussler (all excellent). I’m looking at reading The Judas Strain by James Rollins, The Bishop’s Pawn by Steve Berry, and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton.

            • I’ve not seen Skyscraper. Have you seen it? What did you think of it? Is Olympus Has Fallen the first one? If so, I’ve seen that one. And definitely all the Iron Man movies and the Mummy Trilogy. That was one of my favorites. I’ve only seen a few Jurassic movies and have not seen the rest. Have you seen the new Robin Hood movie? It’s really good.

I’ve not read any of the books. I’ll definitely check into them. I’m always up for a good book. And a good movie.

              • Skyscraper is the most tense and thrilling movie since Die Hard – in fact, it EXCEEDS Die Hard in that regard! Harrowing fun (literally).
Yes, Olympus is the first of the Has Fallens, and I really enjoy it. No, I haven’t seen the new Robin Hood (although I’ve seen and enjoyed Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves).
I’ve also recently seen a couple of Bond movies: Skyfall, and Quantum of Solace (which I just watched last night). Both excellent.
Have you seen Aquaman yet? If you haven’t, I can’t recommend it enough.

                • I’ve not seen Aquaman. My husband isn’t a big fan of his, so I’ll have to watch it when he’s away. LOL. I liked Die Hard, so I would probably like Skyscraper. You should definitely see the new Robin Hood. It’s much better, in my opinion, than any of the other RH movies.
