Jeremy Riddle – This is Amazing Grace (Lyrics)
Who breaks the power of sin and darkness
Whose love is mighty and so much stronger
The King of Glory, the King above all kings
Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder
Who leaves us breathless in awe and wonder
The King of Glory, the King above all kings
This is amazing grace
This is unfailing love
That You would take my place
That You would bear my cross
You would lay down Your life
That I would be set free
Jesus, I sing for
All that You’ve done for me
Who brings our chaos back into order
Who makes the orphan a son and daughter
The King of Glory, the King above all kings
Who rules the nations with truth and justice
Shines like the sun in all of its brilliance
The King of Glory, the King above all kings
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave

Right? I love when he is worshiping and says, “What other King leaves His throne? What other King leaves His glory to die?” So amazing.

Amen! Such powerful (and doctrinely accurate) lyrics! I have been listening to the Robbie Seay Band these days, and many of his songs are based on the book of Psalms. Iβve enjoyed the music β perhaps you may as well! π

I had not heard of him either, but the music strikes a chord in my heart. His name is either Robbie Seay or Bobby Seay β Iβm not remembering it clearly now. π€

Got it! One of my favorites of his is the one based on Psalm 62 (I may have already mentioned this to you β I am not remembering now). So often we want to go ahead and just do things on our own timetable, when usually all the Lord wants us to do is wait on Him. A simple message, but not one always easy to live out in our lives!

That is great! I only became acquainted with his music about a month or so ago. I now have one of the CDs. I really enjoy it! Glad to hear you feel the same. π§‘

It’s always good to hear of great artists. Until now I’ve only heard him on the radio, but I’m going to listen to a bit more of him today. Have a great day. π

I am glad to hear of this! I had never previously heard of this artist, but I will keep an eye (and an ear) open for his work now.
I love how the Lord uses the most unexpected ways — music, in this case — to speak to our hearts. Thanks again, Dee! π

I am in full agreement! There is another somg of his, based on a psalm of gratitude. If I can think of what it is, I will let you know. His songs are also very catchy, so I find myself singing and humming them quite regularly. π

Such a rare thing to be said these days about music, donβt you think? So sad, but true.
