Leeland – Way Maker

Greetings All!

I trust everyone is well and still praising our great God! I have a song for you today that has really blessed me and reminded me that God is never out of control of anything, at anytime. He never leaves us to weather the road alone. He is always by our side and He holds our lives in His merciful and loving hands, no matter what is going on around us. And He will fill us with His sweet peace, if we will let Him.

I know things are crazy right now and it seems we might have more reason to fear than ever before, but that’s simply not true. To think that we have in some way ever been in control of our lives before this current trial, is nothing more than an illusion. He is now and always has been the One who sustains us. He is above all things and we need never fear!

“Even to your old age and gray hairs
    I am He, I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
    I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”
– Isaiah 46:4 NIV –

  1. Dee, how did you know that this song is one of my congregation’s most popular. Our pastor’s son is the choir director and has a melodious voice. And he belts it out and the people are on their feet with up stretched arms waving to our God in heaven. Hallelujah!

    • That’s so wonderful! I love this song. I find myself humming it throughout the day. It’s especially good when someone like your choir direction just belts it out! And it’s such a true picture of our God, isn’t it? Blessings to you Sister Fowler. I am praying God keeps you and yours well and strong. 🙂
