Summer Sabbatical

It’s that time again! Time to step back, refocus, and recenter on God, His word, and His direction in my life. Not to mention some long overdue relaxation! So…

On July 1st, today, I will be starting my much needed Summer Sabbatical for the months of July and August!

Backyard Hammock | Refreshing the Outdoors for Summer ...

I will not be posting for the most part, but may now and then as I feel led. I also won’t be spending much time reading or commenting, though I will check in periodically. If you don’t hear from me, please don’t feel I’ve forgotten about you. ❤ That will never happen.

I will officially return on September 1st. Until then:

“The Lord bless you and protect you;
The Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you
and give you peace.”’
Numbers 6:24-26 (NET)

  1. Hello Dee. I feel honored that you took time out from your sabbatical to comment on several of my most recent blogs. Looking forward to reading your timely comments after September 1. (I’m not into ‘End Times’ ministries, but I sure do enjoy your blogs.) As you may know, I’m on a prayer call every week day morning from 5:45 a.m. to 7 a.m. We will be praying for you. Blessings from above to you and yours. Your Sister in Christ.

    • Thank you so much for praying for me. I definitely need it right now, so much has been happening during this sabbatical that I might need to take another when this one is over.

      On August 11th my mother-in-law passed from Covid. It was a very stressful and horrendous week for everyone. And this past Sunday, August 23rd, my step-father passed from natural causes.

      Now I am helping my 80 year old mother to tie up all the loose ends related to his passing and also find her another place to live closer to family. And all of this from a distance because she doesn’t want me to travel on a plane right now for fear I might get Covid. So as you can imagine, August has been a very emotional month for all of us and I/we could definitely benefit from your prayers. Thank you again, dear Sister.
