Dee, I appreciate the disclaimer, which I must have missed last time I listened to a video you posted. I admire the way you are willing to present both sides. I’ve heard each side claim that Scripture supports their position 100%, when obviously there is more than one way to interpret. I don’t believe any sincere Christ-follower will be turned away from heaven for having the wrong view on this point. The purpose of Scripture that points to the Second Coming is to encourage the Church to be faithful and to give us hope, not to cause us to be divided and argue.

Hi Annie! There are some things in the scriptures which are chiseled in stone, but for those that are not I believe we are free to make a biblically based opinion; while also realizing we may not be (and likely aren’t) 100% accurate in our assessment. Having said that, I personally believe there is not sufficient evidence to even consider a pre-tribulational rapture view; which is why I do not present that side of the equation. However, I do believe the scriptures can be interpreted to support a post-tribulational view, and I am willing to present it as a possibility; though I personally do not hold to that view. And you are so right, we should never be divided or contentious about what the scripture doesn’t clearly define. Ultimately, our hope is in the glorious appearing of Christ, whenever that may happen. And our part is to stand firm in our faith through whatever may come before then, and be ready to meet Him when He calls for us. ❤
