And the Lord will be King over all the earth!

On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

Rapture & Wrath Pt 4a – Silence in Heaven Before God Goes to War

In Revelation chapter 7, the Apostle John reveals that Heaven will be alive with the wondrous sounds of a great multitude crying out: “Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.” Alongside this great multitude, angels, elders, and living creatures will bow down to worship God around His throne with powerful words of praise! And then, immediately after the opening of the seventh seal around the scroll, without any warning or transition – John suddenly speaks of “silence in Heaven” for the duration of half an hour. What is it that will cause the joyous multitude in Heaven to instantaneously turn from singing to silence in one breathless moment?

One Lost Sheep. Revisited

I have been hearing so much lately from fellow believers about trials and suffering, and they wonder, “where is God in all of this?” It’s easy to feel abandoned when everything seems to be caving in and piling up all around us. But know for certain that God sees you. He has not left you. The days are quickly coming when our faith will be severely tested. Perhaps today is the day He has chosen to test our faith in the fires of adversity, so that when those days come we will stand firm and steadfast in Him.

Does God Exist? Is There Evidence for God’s Existence or Do We Stand on Blind Faith?

Many people would like to know the answer to this question. Many more want proof of a material kind when it comes to God. They want to see Him, touch Him, know for a fact that He exists. I think that’s entirely understandable, especially when you consider the ramifications of handing your life over to someone or something that isn’t actually visible. Not to mention the consequences of not doing so, should He turn out to be exactly who He has claimed to be all along.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I Am.”

Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

What good is it if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith save them?

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and eat well,” but you do not give them what the body needs, what good is it? So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith without works and I will show you faith by my works.

God is Light

Now this is the gospel message we have heard from him and announce to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him and yet keep on walking in the darkness, we are lying and not practicing the truth.1 John 1:5‭-‬6 NEThttps://bible.com/bible/107/1jn.1.5-6.NET Cover…

“I Will Never Leave You Nor Forsake You”

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” ~Deuteronomy 31:8

Do you struggle to believe that God loves you? That He will never leave you nor forsake you? That He longs to bless and care for you? Be assured, God loves you with an undying, heroic love!

Honor All People. Love the Family of Believers. Fear God. Honor the King.

I came across this verse the other morning during my reading and I was pierced to the heart with conviction. As I read it over and over, I came to two realizations: First – This verse is a summation of what God expects of us at the most basic level in our relationships with each other and ultimately, with Him. Sort of a ‘rule of thumb’ to live by, if you will. And secondly – I’m not fully doing any of these things. And if I’m not fully doing these things, is what little I do acceptable in the eyes of God?

Rapture & Wrath: Ready or Not? Pt 3 – The Sealing of His Servants and Salvation of His Saints

In this episode, David discusses the epic events which will take place in a brief, but crucial interval between the breaking of the sixth and seventh seals around the scroll in the Book of Revelation. Before God’s wrath and fury rains down upon a sinful and unrepentant humanity during the Day of the Lord, 144,000 Jews will be sealed for protection and a great multitude of faithful followers of Jesus Christ will be gloriously resurrected or raptured.
